A George III mahogany bottle coaster with a fine mould inner rim, surrounding the gently inwardly curved sides, meeting the flat centre. The outer sides slightly rounded and tapering inward toward the base. The underside with baize lining. Date circa 1780. Height 3/4 inch, 2cm. Width 4 1/4 inches, 11cm. Depth 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.Ref:
