A George III Powder Flask. The flask with a hatched spout, above the collar with four adjustable settings for charge amounts. The lower collar with a sprung thumb grip opener, above the flask band, engraved 'INDEPENDENCE' to a belt, surrounding a lion rampant. The pear shaped flask covered in black Moroccan leather, mounted with a cartouche. Date c 1800. Height 8 inches, width 3 1/2 inches, depth 1 3/4 inches.Ref:
