A Large George III Mahogany Bottle Carrier. The body with raised long sides, the short sides with down swept arches, to accommodate the bottle necks. The interior with six divisions to take a half case of wine, and of a size and form to take Bordeaux, Burgandy or Claret shaped bottles. The centre of the body with a raised arch division, fitted with an open shaped carrying handle. The base with a slightly protruding rounded edge, over the well jointed corners. Date c 1790.
