OVERSIZED 19TH C GALLERY GLASS

A Large 19th Century Gallery Glass. The oversized glass in a mahogany frame, of circular shape, the rounded frame finished to the inner edge with a rounded reed slip mould, holding the lens. The frame sweeping to a shaped and tapered handle. Date circa 1830. Height 17 inches, 43.5cm. Width 11 inches, 28cm. Depth 3/4 inch, 2cm.
