A Pair of 18th Century Carved Baltic Oak Panels. Each piece of a long vertical carved profile, with a ringed loop top, above rosettes topping attractive and well carved bodies, decorated with vases, from which rise flowers, berries and leaf shoots. The bases lattice and dotted bands. I have no idea what their purpose is, but they are delightfully carved, have an excellent patination, and are from very hard, close grained oak. Date circa 1760.
