A Pair of 19th Century Tole Vases. Each of the vases of classical campana shape, with an outward rounded rim, above the waisted body and rounded bowl, above a ring socle, and thence the outward sweeping stem, finished with a rounded foot. The vases mounted on conforming square plinths. The vases each with pairs of griffin handles. The whole with gilt decoration of musical trophies, the rims, stems and plinths with leaf and flower decoration, whilst the bowls are decorated with rising leaf cups. All against a deep green ground. Height 8 ½ inches, 22cm. Width 5 inches, 13cm. Depth 5 inches, 13cm.
