A Pair of 19th Century Marble and Ormolu Vases. Each vase with a waisted collar decorated with trailing leaves and berries, between fluted rim and shoulder, the vases mounted with pair of scrolling leaf handles, flanking the classical vases, resting in rising leaf and berry cups. The ringed socles spreading into a fluted stem, finished with a rounded laurel leaf foot. The vases standing on scalloped stepped and rounded plinths, finished with a conforming chamfered ormolu base. Date circa 1840. Height 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Width 6 inches, 15cm.
