A Pair of Early 19th Century Bronze and Ormolu Mounted Vases. Each with a spire and ball rim, finished to the lower edge with leaf ended lancets, over the campana shaped bodies, with pairs of gathered leaf handles emerging from Bacchanalian masks, over the rising leaf cups. The vases standing on reeded collars, before the outward sweeping flutes, falling to lancet raised feet. The vases resting on square plinths finished with inverted spire and leaf decorated lancets as per the rim. The plinths finished with a stepped foot. Date circa 1830. Height 12 1/4 inches, 31cm.
