An 18th Century Silver Tankard. The tankard with an outswept rim, with line banding and hanging icicles, above the baluster body decorated with repousse flowers and scrolling leaves. The body sweeping to a waisted ringed socle, spreading to a raised and stepped circular foot, decorated with a band of leaves. The tankard with a scrolling handle, the top with a leaf thumb grip. The tankard hallmarked for William Shaw, London 1762. Height 4 inches, 10cm. Width 4 inches, 10cm. Depth 2 3/4 inches, 7cm.
