A Solid Silver Mug. The mug mounted with a scrolling handle, cast with a leaf laid thumb grip, repeated to the lower scrolls. The circular bowl decorated with entwined leaves in reserves flanking a central vacant reserve, against a background of surrounding scrolling leaves and hare bells. The mug standing on a waisted and ringed socle, spreading to the circular foot, finished with a beaded rim. Hallmarked for Arthur Sibley, London 1867. Height 4 inches, 10cm. Width 4 inches, 10cm. Depth 3 inches, 7.5cm.
