A Pair of 19th Century Silver Bottle or Decanter Coasters. Each silver coaster with an outward swept rim, above the body decorated in relief with flowing vine leaves and grapes, enhanced with fine chasing. The bodies finished with a stepped lower rim, enclosing the rosewood centres, with rounded concentric ring reeding, finished with a silver centre disc. Complete with baize undersides. Hallmarked for Howard, Battie and Hawksworth, Sheffield 1832. Height 2 1/4 inches, 6cm. Width 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Depth 5 1/2 inches, 14cm.Ref: 22408
