A Pair of Oval Silver Baskets. The solid silver baskets with out swept sides, the rims sweeping in bows to the raised ends. The bows centred by scrolled and beaded decoration, above the sides pierced with flower petals, with fans below each scroll. The baskets each standing on four floral scrolled feet. Hallmarked for Walker and Hall, Sheffield, 1924. Large enough to be useful pieces and of a substantial weight. Height 3 inches, width 11 inches, depth 7 1/2 inches.Ref: 21375
