A 19th Century Silver Tea Set, comprising a tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug. The tea pot with a flower and leaf decorated hinged cover above the body with gadrooned rim. The body with spreading and outward curving reeds, the reeds tapering toward the base, which is supported by four ball feet. The handle with reeding and overlapping leaf decoration. The sugar bowl and milk jug, likewise decorated. Hallmarked for William Bateman, London 1823. Height 5 3/4 inches, width 10 inches, depth 6 1/2 inches. Total weight 1337gRef:
