A Large 19th century Rogers Blue and White Meat Plate, the rounded
rectangular rim with scallop detail, decorated to depict a wood land scene with
flowers to the bottom, trees growing up the sides, and the top a woodland canopy
of leaves. The central scene glimpsed through the woodland depicting classical
ruins, and temples with two men walking with an ox in the foreground and
various figures in the middle and far distance. The centre with meat juice
drainage channels, and a meat juice well. The rear raised on a foot rim, and
impressed ‘Rogers’ ‘20’
