An 18th Century Lignum Vitae Mortar & Pestle, the pestle with a mushroom end, and well shaped handle, finishing with ring turning, above an outward tapering and rounded grinding end. The mortar with a flat rim, above a ring turned and concave banded body, vertical foot rim and flat bottom.
