A Large Masons Ironstone Jug.
The octagonal jug with a broad spout, and outswept rim, above the tall vertical neck spreading to an octagonal facet sided body. The jug mounted with a Hydra handle, and the whole decorated in the Imari form, with a profusion of flowers. The underside marked for 'Masons Patent Ironstone China' with a crown.
Date c 1850.
