A 19th Century Lignum Vitae Tobacco Jar.
The jar with a slightly domed lid, the ring decoration rising to a rounded, and dished, handle. The body decorated with vertical reeding, rising to a slightly outward swept top, and rounded inner rim. The underside of the body with five scalloped and concentric ring decoration.
Date c 1840.
