A 19th Century Imari Vase.
The vase with a raised collar, over the ovoid body tapering to a raised foot rim. The collar and shoulders decorated with flowers and reserves filled with scenes of villages and flowers, set against a blue ground. The main body decorated with a profusion of flowers and foliage, whilst the foot rim is decorated with flowing scrolls.
Date circa 1850.
