A 19th Century Gilt Convex Mirror.
The outer rim of layered reeds, gathered at each quarter with entwined ribbons, surrounding a deep inner edge mounted with ebonized corvetto balls. The inner edge of the frame decorated with a leaf and berry banding, before the ebonized reeded slip, holding the original convex plate.
Date circa 1840.
