A 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop.
With a rope twist and scrolling leaf handle, emerging from the rising and spreading leaf shank, the base in the form of a lions paw with hairy ankles. The rear with conforming lead loading. All with an attractive patination.
Height 15 inches, 38cm.
Width 4 inches, 10cm.
Depth 3 1/4 inches, 8cm.
Date circa 1840.
