A Substantial Hip Flask.
The hip flask at just over half pint capacity, with a silver lid, of rounded shape, hinging on a collar, and closing with a rotating bayonet catch. The glass body with rounded shoulders.
The lower half enclosed within a slide off silver cup, with a gilt wash lining.
Hallmarked for John Dixon & Son, Sheffield 1924, and further engraved to the underside of the cup for the retailers 'DREW & SONS, PICCADILLY CIRCUS WEST, MAKERS TO THE ROYAL FAMILY'.
