An Early 19th Century Windsor Chair.
The oak and elm Windsor chair with a hoop back rail, enclosing tapered spindles, flanking a pierced wheel and shaped back splat. The arm sweeping forward and held by tapered crescent end supports. The well figured saddled seat, over slightly splayed ring turned and tapered legs, joined by tapered stretchers.
An excellent colour and patination throughout.
