A 19th Century Pottery Jar, Tobacco Jar.
Modelled as a happy chap, wearing a tasselled and embroidered cap, the cap forming the lift off lid. His head framing the jar, he looks forward with a jovial expression, the foot rim formed by his high collar and stock.
Date circa 1850.
