An 18th Century Delft Plate.
With a concave rim, decorated with bamboo and shoots against a lattice ground. The centre of the plate with a band of Oriental scroll work surrounding a scene of a tree, flowers and grasses, within which a bird perches, as a butterfly and bird fly past, watched by a hare resting in the grass. The rear with a small recessed foot rim.
Date circa 1740.
