A 19th Century Bronze Lamp Base. The outward sweeping leaf capital resting on a reeded column, tapering outward and downward to a gadrooned and rising leaf socle, as per the capital. The circular outward and down swept foot, resting on a concave triangular plinth, raised to each corner by Sphinx, lying on rectangular plinths. Date circa 1820. Height 20 inches, 51cm.
