A Pair of 19th Century Counter Facing Ormolu Wall Sconces, Wall Lights. Each formed as a maiden with flowing hair rising from a scrolled Herm, decorated as her bodice. The pair of arms, each emerging from a Neptune mask, as sweeping in scrolls and leaves to leaf decorated drip pans, holding ring vase candle holders. The wall plates finished with oval medallions, falling to spreading and hanging leaves. Date circa 1850. Height 11 1/4 inches, 28cm. Width 9 inches, 23cm. Depth 6 3/4 inches, 17cm.
