A 19th Century Ormolu and Brass Lamp Base. With a triangular baluster shaped cap of fluted panels, decorated with emerging leaves. The stem topped with folding leaves, over the triangular body with reeded corners, meeting rising and scrolling leaves, over a ringed socle. The triangular base with scrolled leaf corners, surrounding leaf decorated cartouche panels. The corners falling to scrolled feet, joining the scrolled leaf lower edges and finished with small circular feet. Re wired and ready for use. Date circa 1850. Height 19 1/2 inches, 49cm.
