A Large 18th Century Delft Charger. The unusual design with a small sloping rim, decorated with leafy foliage, within oval reserves, within a scrolling bi coloured ground. The centre of the charge with flowering bean pods, surrounding circular and orb panels, filled with scrolls and flower heads, enclosing a central radiating flower head. An unusual 'Japanese' design. Date circa 1730. Height 2 1/4 inches, 6cm. Diameter 14 inches, 36cm.Ref:
