A Pair of 18th Century Delft Jars and Covers. Each brass cover with an acorn finial over an ogee and stepped body, with a vertical rim fitting over the outswept rim of the jar. The concave neck spreading into the rounded shoulders over the tapering body, finished with a circular foot. The jars well painted with scrolling and spreading flower and leaf reserves. The centres titled 'TABAC DE DAMES'. Date circa 1760. Height 15 inches, 38cm. Width 9 inches, 23cm. Depth 9 inches, 23cm.Ref: 23706
