A Large 19th C Wellington Chest. The 19th century Pollard Oak Wellington Chest, with a rectangular top, above the body set with seven graduated drawers. Each drawer with a pair of chamfer fronted ring knob handles, and a brass drum head escutcheon. The drawers flanked by fielded lancet panels, divided by mouldings, returning to the sides. The whole standing on a rectangular plinth base. The rear with a double panel back. Complete with brass locks, and key. Height 55 inches, 140cm. Width 28 inches, 72cm. Depth 18 1/4 inches, 46cm.
