A Pair of 19th Century Classical Vases. Each vase with brass mounted rims, of stepped and concave shape, finished with a rope twist and berry collar, joining the pair of scrolled and gathered leaf handles, with rosette paterae centres. The marble bodies, tapering to a rising leaf cup, over the ringed socle, spreading in a concave profile to the rope twist and berry foot, as per the collar. The vases standing on stepped and bowed plinths, with rosette paterae mounts. The plinths raised up on circular pinecone decorated feet. Date circa 1850. Height 14 inches, 36cm.
